The HeartSine Samaritan Pediatric Pad-Pak is a simple cartridge. It combines the battery and pediatric electrode pads into one. This all-in-one design makes it simple and ready for use. This format makes replacement quicker and simpler. It also ensures that your AED is ready for young patients when needed.

This pediatric cartridge is made for kids who weigh less than 55 pounds or are under 8 years old. It automatically lowers the shock level for kids when connected to a HeartSine AED. This ensures safe care for smaller bodies. For adults, choose the standard Samaritan Pad-Pak Adult Cartridge.

This pediatric cartridge is compatible with the following defibrillator models:

• HeartSine Samaritan Pad 360P
• HeartSine Samaritan Pad 450P

Pediatric Pad Pak is Easy to Install & Use

In an emergency, switching from the adult cartridge to the pediatric one is quick and easy. Press the side tabs to release the adult cartridge. Remove it, then insert the child cartridge until it clicks securely into place. Once the AED’s green readiness light appears, the device is set for pediatric use.

To use the pads, take each one off its backing. Then, place them on the child’s bare skin as shown in the diagram. Place one pad in the center of the chest and the other in the middle of the back. This ensures proper pediatric defibrillation.

The HeartSine Samaritan Pad-Pak lasts four years. This gives it more usability than most standard AED pad and battery sets. The end date is clearly printed on the front of the cartridge. This makes it easy to know when to replace it.
